Office hours are by appt. only:

• Albany office: Mondays 10-7 and Fridays 9-4.

• Walnut Creek office: Tuesdays 9-6 and Thursdays 9-6.

Fee Schedule & Policies

Fee Schedule for Adults:

• Initial visit: $250 - 90 minutes

• Follow-up: $180 - 60 minutes
                    $140 - 45 minutes
                    $90 - 30 minutes

Fee Schedule for General Pediatrics:

• Initial visit: $190 - 75 minutes

• Follow-up: $150 - 60 minutes
                    $120 - 45 minutes
                    $70 - 30 minutes

Fee Schedule for Special Needs Children:

• Initial visit: $400 - 120 minutes

• Follow-up: $200 - 60 minutes
                    $160 - 45 minutes
                    $110 - 30 minutes

Fee Policies

• Due at the time of service, including telephone consults.

• Telephone consults are no charge for the first 5 minutes. Telephone calls longer than 5 minutes will be charged at the rate of $3.00 per minute during office hours and $5.00 per minute after hours (after 6 pm on weekdays and on weekends)

• Emails: $15 for brief email, $30-60 for lengthy emails

• Missed appointment fee is $160.00 for 1 hour visit unless there is an emergency.

• Returned check fee is $35.00

• Forms of payment accepted are: cash, check and credit card (MC and VISA only)

• If you have insurance coverage, you have the option of submitting a HICA claim form to your insurance company for reimbursement

Communication

• The best way to reach Dr Abrin is via telephone. She is available via telephone during the following hours: Mondays 9-6, Tuesdays 9-6, Wednesdays 2-6 or Thursdays 9-6. Your call will be returned within 24-72 hours. For emergencies, please go to the nearest emergency room.

• Telephone calls under 5 minutes are no charge. Telephone consults will be billed at a rate of $3.00 per minute during office hours and $5.00 per minute after hours.

• For patients in Hawaii, there is a 2-3 hour time difference (3 hours March to September and 2 hours September to March). Day or evening phone appointments are available for Hawaii families on Mondays-Thursdays 9-6. Dr Abrin has most availability on Wed.

• Emails: Dr Abrin will answer brief emails with 1-2 questions at a charge of $15. Lengthy emails will require a telephone consultation. Dr Abrin will reply to your email to schedule a telephone consultation. If you do not receive a response from Dr Abrin via email, please follow-up with a phone call.

Laboratory Tests

• Most laboratory tests are paid out-of- pocket, paid directly to the laboratory (check or credit card)

• For blood tests performed at Dr Abrin's office, there will be a phlebotomy fee of $50.00.

• For laboratory tests performed at Quest, please inform the laboratory that you will be paying at the time of service. There is a discount if the lab test is paid with cash, check or credit card the day your blood is drawn.

Medicinary

• Special orders for medicinary items will be sent to you directly from Natural Partners in Arizona within 3-4 business days.

• For refills, please call 24 hours in advance to arrange to pick up your supplements.
